There Will Be A Short Congregational Meeting After Worship Today.
Agenda:

  2. Election of lay-delegate to Cattaraugus Circuit Forum.
  3. Election of lay-delegate to 2012 Eastern District Convention.
The Properties Committee will meet this Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 6 pm instead of Nov. 8 because of the Sauerkraut Supper.

Daylight Savings Time Ends On Sunday, November 6th. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour Saturday night.

Sauerkraut Supper Tickets - If you haven’t purchased your tickets yet now is the time to do so! One week left until the Sauerkraut Supper on Tuesday, Nov. 8. All ticket are $8.50 each.

Thanks to everyone who helped to make our Hands & Harvest Craft Festival and Chinese Auction a successful event! Thanks go out to all who worked, donated and/or attended. We are able to send $562 to each – The Wounded Warriors Project and Operation Christmas Child.

We Would Like To Collect the names and addresses of all the servicemen and women connected to Trinity. We want to be sure they receive a Christmas card from us and then several other cards throughout the year so they know we are thinking of them and praying for them. Anyone with a relative or close friend in the military, please put their name and address in the collection plate or leave it in the church office for Kay.

The Final Weeks Of Collecting for Operation Christmas Child are upon us. If you have any further donations, please bring them in by November 13th. We will be packing the shoe boxes for distribution right after church that day. We would love some help-no wrapping, just packing-please stay a few minutes to help out.

Sauerkraut Supper Tickets Are Now On Sale – You can purchase tickets in the church office or after worship on Sundays! Early seating @ 5pm, Late seating at 6:30pm. Takeout tickets may also be purchased and dinners picked up at 5:30pm. Price of all tickets is $8.50.

Hands And Harvest Festival is this Saturday, October 15th from 10AM to 3PM. Come for lunch. Come for the Chinese Auction. Proceeds will go to the Wounded Warriors Project and to Operation Christmas Child. If you are able, please sign up to help with this event, sign up is sheet on the lounge table. Thank you!

News and Notes for Sunday October 2 , 2011

Hands And Harvest Craft Sale –Saturday, October 15th, 10AM to 3PM. Come for lunch. Come for the Chinese Auction. Proceeds will go to the Wounded Warriors Project and to Operation Christmas Child. The Hearts and Harvest Craft Festival needs items for the Chinese Auction. We need fill, filler and fillers: gift items, hostess gifts, holiday items, shred, tissue, straw, ribbons, pine cones and people. There will be a collection box available under the table, and a sign-up sheet on the table, in the lounge, and if you have larger items--don't be afraid to think outside the basket, please contact Karalee, Shelly or Deb Kling.

The Chinese Auction baskets will be assembled in the lounge on Wednesday, October 5th at 1:00pm. Anyone wishing to help is invited to join us, and donations for the auction are still being gratefully accepted until Wednesday, Oct. 5th. Thank you.
