The Rite Of Confirmation: This morning, in the Rite of Confirmation, four of our congregation’s youth will publically confess their faith in the Lord God – who He is, what He has done, what He continues to do now, and what He will do in the future – as He revealed to us through His Word, the Holy Scriptures. The four youth and their individual confirmation verses are:

• Bailey Dorothy Gallmann Bennett – St. Luke 11:28
• Mackenzie Leigh Gallmann Bennett – St. John 8:12
• Aidan Stewart Patrick – St. John 3:16
• Jada Nicole White – Joshua 1:9

We praise God that through their study of His Word, the Holy Spirit has increased their knowledge of the Christian faith and life. Above all, we praise Him that the Spirit has strengthened their faith that they have been saved from sin, death, and the devil for God’s Son Jesus Christ by His death on the cross and resurrection from the grave defeated sin, death, and the devil for all who believe. It is our sincere prayer that they will faithfully attend worship; hear, read, study, and digest His Word; and partake of the Lord’s Supper for then, by the Spirit’s power, they can fight the good fight of faith, remain faithful to Christ all the days of their lives, and obtain everlasting life in heaven.

Piano Recital – Carole Aldrich’s piano students will be giving a recital next Sunday, June 9 at 2pm. All are welcome to attend!

Sacred Acts – Baptism: This morning Rylan Lawrence Dice, daughter of Brandi Dice, will be baptized with water and God’s Word according to Christ’s Command. As he is baptized God the Father emphatically declares, “Rylan, you are My Son whom I dearly love.” Rylan’s Godparents are Travis Dice and Siera Perry. We give thanks to God for His grace that He bestows through Baptism and pray that Rylan will be brought up in the Lord and worship Him all the days of His life so that He will remain steadfast in the faith that Jesus is his Savior and obtain eternal life.

Please don’t assume that if the tables/chairs are in the shed that they are available for your use – someone else might already have them reserved for their event. (Another important note: only the old tables may be borrowed, not the white ones. Thank you.)
