Trinity Readers Busy Turning Pages - For the book selection for the month of March our newly formed book club has chosen the novel MARCH by Geraldine Brooks. All congregational members and their friends are invited to read and discuss on Thursday, March 27 at 6:15 pm.

MARCH is an enjoyable historical fiction read and is available at the local library or may be purchased at a bookstore or online here. The author is a recent Pulitzer Prize winner for fiction, this book along with her others being a testimony to her fluent story-telling style.

March of MARCH is Mr. March, the fictional father figure in Lousia May Alcott’s LITTLE WOMEN. The story follows his life as a chaplain to the northern troops in the Civil War, an abolitionist involved in the Underground Railroad, and a teacher to the slaves on a southern plantation. History becomes very alive through his adventures, his interactions with all sorts of people, and his viewpoints. You are welcome to attend even if you haven’t read the book. Discussion promises to be lively.
