Bible Study resumes: “Becoming a Woman of Excellence” begins again on Sunday, January 2nd. at 7:00 pm. The group meets in the church library. Please join us, it’s not too late. It is never too late to study God’s Word.

Christmas Day Dinners will be prepared for those in need who are unable to prepare a meal for themselves. Call the Wellsville Daily Reporter 593-5300 by December 23 to sign up for a meal. We will deliver only in the towns of Allentown, Andover, Belmont, Scio, Wellsville and Willing. We are still accepting donations of turkeys, questions? see Kato.

Volunteer Respite Training: Office of the Aging is offering training to become a Respite Volunteer. If you would like more information about this please contact Betty Wood.

Our Newest Banner “Jesus – Our Star” was made by the daycare children. Wednesday church with the preschoolers has been focusing on the Christmas story and the star leading us to Jesus.

Christmas Memorials Will Be Accepted Through Friday, December 17. This year’s memorials will benefit Youth for Christ, Wellsville Soup Kitchen and Helping Hands! Forms are on table in lounge area. Thanks!

Church Ornaments are still for sale for $10. See any Ladies Aid Member or stop by the church office to purchase one for a gift or keep for yourself!

Your Help Is Needed on Saturday, December 4 at 9:00 am to put up the Christmas tree. Decorating will continue immediately after church on Sunday, the 5th. Many hands will make it fun and quick work.

Sacred Acts – Baptism: This morning Darnell Love Watson and Alexis Elaine Watson, children of Dean Watson and Carrie Flanagan Watson, will confess their faith in the one God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. At the same time, God declares Darnell as His son whom He loves and Elaine as His daughter whom He loves. Their Godparents are Dale and Tiersa Watson. We praise God for His love and grace He bestows through Baptism and pray that Darnell and Elaine will continue to grow in the Christian faith and life.

Altar Guild help is needed. Altar Guild is a ministry of God’s people whereby we take care of the Communion ware, Paraments, and Sanctuary on a weekly basis. It is a service to help maintain the beauty of our church in order to awaken the response of God’s people in all forms of beauty, care, and reverence. 1 Cor. 14:40 reminds us by saying, “Let all things be done decently and in order.” Please consider be part of this service. It usually means serving 4 Sundays’ a year and 2 meetings per year. If you are interested, please talk with Betty Wood or June Helmer.

Church Ornaments are for sale from any Ladies Aid member or the church office. Price is $10 each. Thanks for your support!
