Tidbits From This Week's Bulletin - September 30th

Babysitter(s) Needed - we are in need of someone willing to donate about an hour on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 beginning Oct. 11. This service is needed for the new seminar "Making Your Children Mind, Without Losing Yours." Please contact Betty Wood as soon as possible if you are able to help. Thank you!

Thrivent has decided to financially assist Peggy Stanford, (daughter of Carl & Arlene Leave) for medical bills and other expenses incurred as a result of unexpected complications from recent back surgery and loss of income from not being able to work. There is a jar in the lounge for donations. Thank you.

Cross Bearers And Banner Carriers are needed for our church services. If you are interested in serving the Lord in this capacity, please see Betty Wood.

Bible Breakfast Is Back!

Our popular "Bible Breakfast" fellowship and Bible study starts again this Tuesday, September 25th. The good time starts at 9:30 am with a hearty Breakfast prepared by our world renowned chef, Pastor Bob, followed by a full hour of adult Bible study lead by Pastor Bob. Come join us for this time of Christian fellowship and Spiritual growth. All are welcome. Hope to see you there.

New Seminar

Parents! Starting Thursday, Oct. 11th at 7:00 pm a 6 week course entitled "How To Make Your Children Mind, Without Losing Yours! will offered here at Trinity. The course is a video series with Dr. Kevin Leman. Dr. Leman is a Christian psychologist who offers principles of child-rearing that really work! There will be free babysitting available. Cabbage Cutting

Come learn how sauerkraut is made!

Help is needed this Sunday, Sept. 23 to help cut cabbage for the annual Sauerkraut Supper to be held on Election Day, November 6th. The fun begins in the church basement starting at 1:00 pm. Everyone is welcome and the help is greatly appreciated!

Tidbits From This Week's Bulletin - September 16th

Donations are needed for the upcoming Chinese Auction benefit for Cheryl Young on Saturday, September 29th. Homemade craft items or new items will be greatly appreciated. Please mark the items and bring them to the church office weekday mornings (8-noon) or you may drop them off Sunday mornings. Deadline to bring items is September 23rd. Please call the church office 593-3311 or Janet Carlin 593-3186 for more information if needed.

Help is needed to assemble Welcome Folders. Please contact Betty Wood (593-2405) if you can donate about an hour of your time. Thank you.

If anyone is interested in subscribing to Lutheran Witness at a cost of $8.75/yr., please contact Marge Vossler or call the church office as soon as you can. The order must be placed at the same time with the church order.

Missionary From India Here at Trinity September 30th

Here is your opportunity to meet a real live missionary from India. God has placed in our paths, Sheba Sunayna from Andhra Pradesh, India. Come hear how Sheba opened her home to a needy orphan, and now is providing food, clothing, shelter and a Christ-centered education to over 150 orphans through Compassion for Orphans Mission.

Sheba will be here at Trinity September 30th a 7:00 pm.

Chicken Bar-B-Q & Chinese Auction - September 29th

We are having a Chicken Bar-B-Q and Chinese auction, to benefit our dear sister and former church secretary Cheryl Young, on Saturday September 29th from Noon till 4 pm. BBQ tickets are $7 each or $25 for a family of 4 and can be purchased at the church office or at one of the following locations:
  • Fisher's Pharmacy
  • Hamilton's Shoe store
  • Richardson & Stout Insurance Agency

This event will also receive Supplemental funding from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans

Music In The Paviliaon - September 20th

There will be "Music in the Pavilion" Thursday September 20th from 5:30 pm till 8 pm. Proceeds from this benefit will be going to improve the Trinity Christian Daycare playground. There will be Hotdogs, chips, popcorn and soda available together with 50/50 drawings. Music will be provided by The Band of Brothers together with all time favorites Carol Mead and Carole Aldrich. Come have a great evening our and support Trinity Christian Daycare. Hope to see you there.

Christian Education Sunday This Week - September 9th

Join us this Sunday for Christian Education Sunday! We will have Sunday School registration and you will meet your teacher and classmates in your classroom. Bring friends and neighbors with you to find out what is here for them. The service begins and 10:30 am and SS enrollment follows.
