LORRAINE C. KRENTZ (1913 - 2008)

WELLSVILLE - Lorraine C. Krentz peacefully entered the heavenly Kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday (Feb. 2, 2008) at The Pines of Lake Fenton.Lorraine was born on December 12, 1913 in Buffalo, the daughter of George and Magdalena (Lehner) Beller. After graduating from high school she owned and operated the first beauty shop at Buffalo General Hospital. On Aug. 16, 1939 she married the love of her life, the Reverend Elmer W. Krentz in Buffalo and together they raised six daughters in Wellsville. She was a resident of Grand Blanc, Mich. since 1976. Her passions were her church, Faith Lutheran, family and living life to its fullest. What a blessed life she had and a blessing to all who had the honor of knowing her. She is survived by her children, Gloria and Reverend John Schulz of Knoxville Tenn., Elaine and William Armour of Punta Gorda, Fla., Lois and Roger Seaman of Marietta, Ga., Mary and Hal Eppley of Rochester Hills, Mich., JoAnne and David Panzlau of Fenton, Mich. and Jan and Mick Spillane of Medina, Ohio. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Dalgleish of Derby; sister-in-law, Alice Montie of Wheaton, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.Visitation and from 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church until the Service of Celebration at noon, Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 Holly Road, Grand Blanc. The Reverend Dr. Wayne H. Wentzel will officiate. Committal in Evergreen Cemetery.
