News and Notes From This Week's Bulletin - Sunday, June 8, 2008

New Members - This morning we welcome into membership Roxanne (Anne) Jedraszczak and Gary and Laurie Sagerman. We thank God that they have become a part of our family of faith and we pray that they may continue to grow in the Christian faith and life through their fellowship with us.

Sacred Acts – Baptism: This morning Aubree Marie Monroe, daughter of Matthew Monroe and Jamie Smith, will become a child of God through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. Her God parents are Terry Monroe and Jolene Green. We praise God for His gift of forgiveness, life and salvation given to Aubree and we pray that as she grows in years she will be brought up in the Lord and continually use the means of grace so that she may grow and remain steadfast in the Christian faith and obtain everlasting life with God in heaven.

Sacred Acts – Baptism: This morning Jamie Smith will confess her faith in God and in Christ as her Savior through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. We praise God for the forgiveness of sins and new life in Christ He gives Jamie through Baptism. We pray that she remain steadfast in the Christian faith and obtain everlasting life with God in heaven.

Piano Recital: Piano students of Carole Aldrich will present their recital TODAY, Sunday, June 8 at 3:00PM at Trinity. A reception will follow. Come and enjoy a relaxing time as 1st through 11th grades perform for you.

Favorite Hymns: During the summer months Pastor would like to use some of your favorite hymns in our worship services. The use of the hymns will be based upon the service theme and whether or not we have the hymn’s music and words. There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the church lounge. Please write the name of your favorite hymn(s) on that sheet.
