News and Notes From This Week's Bulletin - Sunday, August 3, 2008

Can We Borrow Your Christmas Trees? VBS needs to borrow some decorations. We are decorating according to our theme “Friendship Trek”, which is hiking and camping oriented. We need many items including: Fake trees/ foliage/ grass, toy stuffed or plastic/ resin woodland animals, green and blue sheets or blankets, tiki torches, clean stones and wood, tent, sleeping bags, and backpacks. Please see the bulletin board by the Sunday School closet for a complete list. We will return all items as soon as possible. Please be sure to label your items with your name. Thank you for your help!

The Flowers Today are given to the Glory of God by Pastor & Karalee Morris in celebration of their 30th Wedding Anniversary.

Mp3 Player Up For Auction: A Sansa MP3 player has been donated to be auctioned off with the proceeds going to help purchase 4 acres of land for Sheba and the children. The player is a $50 value. You will find a bidding sheet on the table in the lounge. Bidding will end on August 17th. If you have any questions, please contact Betty Wood.

Hands & Harvest Festival – Sept. 27th. We are renting tables to handcrafters for $15.00 each. If interested, contact Karalee st 593-9032. The church will also have a few tables and welcome the donation of handcrafted items. Please consider making something!
