Sauerkraut Supper Helpers Needed!

Election For The Thrivent Board Of Directors: Members should have received their national ballots by now. These have to be mailed back by the end of November. The local chapter elections will be held during a coffee hour in November. More information on the local elections to follow.

Many, Many Thanks to everyone who donated to, worked at, and came to the Hands and Harvest Craft Festival on Saturday, October 24th!! A great job was done by everyone involved and, as a result, $1,233.00 was raised for Sheba's children at the orphanage. There were many nice comments made related to the friendliness and efforts of our congregation by both the attendees and vendors. A wonderful Christian witness!! Thank you all!

Portals Of Prayer are available for anyone who would like to take one. A donation of $1.00 would be greatly appreciated to help cover the cost.

Lutheran Witness: The Church will no longer be receiving copies of the Lutheran Witness. However, if you would like to receive a copy, contact Deb Martin before November 15th and you can subscribe through the church and save a little. The cost is $9.25; please bring your payment to the church office if interested. Thanks.

UPC Labels are being collected from Campbell Soups, Pepperidge Farm, Franco-American, and Prego products. The daycare is spearheading this drive with assistance from some of the Dorcas ladies. The only part of the label needed is the little rectangular section marked with a barcode and titled “Labels for Education.” There is a box on the back table for leaving your labels. Currently we have 2010 points with labels, but are trying for more in order to redeem them for needed school items. 350 pts “buys” large crayons, a soft 12 ft balance beam is 5950 pts, a Lego set is 3,350 pts. Gym scooters are 750 pts. A new floor mat is 11,300 points. Please help by saving, cutting, and bringing in your labels.
