News and Notes for Sunday, December 13, 2009

Open House: Pastor and Karalee invite everyone to their home next week on Sunday, December 20th following the Cantata Service. Their house number is 300 North Main Street [next to Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home]. There will be plenty of refreshments. Please do come so that they can wish you a blessed Christmas and thank you for your Christian love these past 8 years.

Christmas Memorials: If you would like to make a donation in memory of a friend or loved one, please pick up a form from the lounge table. Forms and monies are due in the church office by this Thursday, December 17.

Trinity Christian Daycare Christmas Program will be held in the Church Sanctuary on Thursday December 17 @ 4 pm. The Trinity Congregation is invited to attend!

Christmas Season Worship Schedule:

1. Christmas Cantata: Sunday, December 20 at 10:30 AM; A Service of God’s Word proclaimed through music with Holy Communion.
2. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service: Thursday, December 24th. 7:00PM – Special Christmas Music and 7:30PM – Candlelight Service; A Service of God’s Word, Holy Communion, Carols, and Candles.
3. No Saturday Worship Services: There will be no Saturday Services on December 19 due to the Cantata on Sunday, December 20th and on December 26 due to Christmas Eve Service on Thursday, December 24th.

Today Is Your Last Chance to sign up for the Christmas party which will be held in the fellowship hall this coming Saturday, Dec. 19th @ 6pm.

2010 Birthday/Anniversary Calendar: A sample copy of the 2010 birthday calendar is on the table in the lounge. Everyone is urged to check if their names, birthday and/or anniversary dates are correct. If your birthday/anniversary isn’t on the calendar and you would like it to be, please add it. Please write your corrections and additions directly on the calendar. Thank you.

Church Christmas Ornament: See display in the church lounge. These are available to buy in the church office or Ladies Aid members for $15 each. All proceeds benefit Julie Shaver.

We Thank the 111 members and friends who attended services last weekend and the 28 who attended Advent Service and shared $4,011.50 towards the budget needs of First Trinity. Christmas memorials of $160.00 and misc. funds of $60.00 were also received. Our budget needs are $3,798.00 each Sunday during 2009.
