News and Notes for Sunday, October 28, 2012

Daylight Savings Time Ends - Sunday November 4 - Turn Clocks Back one Hour.

Sacred Acts – Baptism: Yesterday, October 27th at the 7:30 PM Saturday Service, Allison Ann Fanton, daughter of Darren Louis Fanton and Carol Ann (nee Stevens) Fanton, was baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Through her baptism God has declared Allison to be His child whom He dearly loves and is well blessed. Her Godparents are Walter Embser and Doreen Fanton. We praise God for Allison’s baptism and the blessings He has bestowed upon her through it. We pray that as she grows in years she will hear, read, and study God’s Word, especially the glorious Gospel at home and the Church in order that the seed of saving faith in Jesus which has been planted will grow, she will remain steadfast in the faith that Jesus is her Savior all the days of her life, and she will inherit eternal life.
